Happy New Year – 2017
Here we go. The first issue of i-Fashion Magazine for 2017 and pre-orders are already 20% higher than this time last year. We must be doing something correct. There is no way we could have come this far without all of YOU. My i-Fashion Team….God blessed me with the best and I cherish that.
You’ve heard the cliché saying; “out with the old, in with the new”…..well….., We like to keep the old around because they give us a better aspect of what the “New” should look like. After all, where do you think the “New” came from?
We at IFM believe it is important as a large and close-knit fashion family to support each other… old and new, because without the direct and indirect support, positive and adverse criticism, we are nothing but pawns in a never-ending shell game where nobody wins.
We’ve started the new year with some fantastic fashion talent like designer Henry Picado, a fellow Costa Rican & Jewel Shannon, one of the hottest Caribbean designers who is putting Guyana and Brooklyn on the fashion map. European designer, Reese Curtis-Walwyn, shows how classy business attire can be sophisticated and sexy and designer Theresa Lee of Jersey is breaking out of Jersey and promises to conquer New York with her hardcore talent.
You’re going to see some good things coming out of the i-Fashion camp this year with some very powerful collaborations, new and revamped models & designers, shows from around the world as well as right here at home.
