Lloyd Crawford – Editor-n-Chief Costa Rican born and Brooklyn raised Lloyd Crawford started i-Fashion (i-fashionmag.com) magazine with the hopes of shining a lens on the diversity in the fashion world. His love of the camera and fashion led him to create i-Fashion magazine, who will celebrate its 10th year anniversary on May 12th, 2018. The magazine’s mission is creating a platform for creative minds to build and share through colors, design and ultimately fashion; both domestically and internationally. Lloyd’s ability to straddle the worlds of business, photography and design makes him a man of diversity and inclusion. He captures the essence of emotion in his work while also using his creative mind to create resort wear, L’Antonio, which will showcase at his May 12th celebration. Lloyd’s L’Antonio line is one of a kind in that it is the complete package, including classy swimsuits coupled with jewelry, wraps and heels. As a true Taurus Lloyd’s loyalty and groundedness has kept him in high regard among his colleagues in the industry. A soft-spoken man with a radio voice and a radiant smile Lloyd’s ability to engage all audiences adds to his uniqueness. Professionally shooting since 1989, Mr. Crawford images have graced the pages of Vogue, Elle, W, Essence and countless others. It wasn’t until after these accomplishments that he realized there were so many local fashion talents that needed to be seen. Hence the birth of i-fashion magazine. People always ask what the “i” in i-fashion stands for and the reply is “independent.” The initial premise behind the magazine was a way to showcase Lloyd’s work to a greater audience. But after working with so many talented individuals and teams, he felt it was important to showcase their work as well. What makes i-fashion unique both domestically and internationally, is the hand-picked display of new artists featured side by side with established talent. Even after 10 years Lloyd is still the man behind the camera, and the computer, connecting personally with the artists. When i-Fashion Magazine started in 2010, after a two-year run, the magazine had a modest following, close to 75,000. However, at the end of 2016, the magazine’s following is well over 400 thousand readers. With a staff of 12 fashion professionals who also mentor and educate kids, i-fashion magazine also helps builds community by collaborating with various other magazines with similar missions.

Lamont & Jeana Bowlings NYFW

Sunday afternoon Labor Day weekend and i-Fashion Magazine hits the runway at Lamont & Jeana’s New York Fashion Week. Blessed to be in the company of so many talented Designers from around the globe featuring urban kids wear to unique men’s suits, beautiful tailored gowns to classy swimwear, the show was truly amazing.

Music orchestrated by DJ Luna, set the tone as each designer presented him and her self through their garments.

L’ Antonio showcased some classic 2018 pieces, as well as a sneak peek from our SS2019 Resort Wear. Sophisticated and soft fabrics made for lounging at the pool, beach and after hours. Whites and colors hit the runway in the form of coverups, dresses, swimwear, handbags and jewelry.

Thanks Lamont and Jeana for creating this platform, giving the designers a chance to showcase and sell our garments.

L’Antonio at Martha’s Vineyard

The event in Martha’s Vineyard was an example of vision turning into reality. It was just about a year ago when we had the vision that Martha’s Vineyard would be a prime spot for an L’ Antonio fashion show. And so here we are. We secured a spot at the Harbor View Hotel in January, met with local artists, models and key community stake holders in April and pulled off not only 2 shows, 8 models showcasing 3 outfits each, but also shared our the magnificent space with local vendors AND were blessed with many clients who bought and modeled our line. Thank you everyone for making this happen. We will be back!

Fashion Sizzle

NY Fashion Sizzle….. Featuring multiple talented designers, this event was a (Kick Off) to New York Fashion Week Men’s. This amazing show was held at the Holy Apostles Church in Manhattan. Ironically, designs for men sizzled the runway on this hot summer day. A diverse group of men and an eclectic group of designers shared their talent and designs. Rodney Alexander, Kloset Slayer, Austin Paul, Yard Rock, Sheldon Shirley, RickBailey, and Corey Woods

Heritage India represented with some culture as Fashion Sizzle introduced their new line, Sizzle men sporting the look. Sheldon Shirley, showcased a new look for men with a printed button-up shirt with distressed blocking and Rodney Alexander gave a new meaning to men’s high fashion. The whole show was a sizzling success. The audience participated and seemed to enjoy walking the runway in between, including Quann Boyd and his cute little dog Jaezi. Fashion sizzle is on the rise…look out for them as they sizzle their way to the top.

L’ Antonio at Martha’s Vineyard

Martha’s Vineyard is becoming that home away from home for me. I love the atmosphere, the people, the ability to relax and breathe fresh air… Lol. But that’s wasn’t the reason for our visit this time.

L’ Antonio conducted it’s first pop-up shop and let me just say, I can’t wait until we go back for the July 26th show at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown Ma.

Even though the weather wasn’t on our side, and it was still kind of early in the season to attract the heavy flow of normal shoppers, the promise of what’s to come is overwhelming.

The barrage of compliments on the garments and accessories just confirmed something that we already knew…..we have a great product. Being that this was our first time with the MV market, It was also a great learning experience.

Sleek MV was absolutely phenomenal, making us feel so at home. We are so grateful for allowing us to utilize their space.
