Destination Wedding Recommendations – March 2019

Sandra Cristina, Photographer of Predestined in Love talks with passion about weddings. She has been behind the camera in hundreds of memorable ceremonies and receptions in different destinations.

“In a time where social media opens up the world in the palm of our hands and traveling to just about anywhere and everywhere is as accessible as it is, when it comes to couples tying the knot it only makes absolute sense to plan such a special day in exotic and foreign locations. Wedding photography is the essence of telling a true love story. When travel is added to this, the story is one to tell of how love, culture, adventure, and discovery aligns with the commitment of capturing breathtaking imagery to have and to hold for a lifetime.”

Coffee Around The World – September 2019

One of the activities a lot of people enjoy when traveling is tasting coffee worldwide. Visiting cute coffee shops, touring coffee farms or just buying it as a souvenir to take home is definitely a traveler habit. The different styles varies around the world; from delicious Italian espresso to the well known Café au laît from France.

Coffee is grown in over 50 countries around the world, including Costa Rica, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Colombia, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Vietnam through the Bean Belt.

A lot of factors affect the taste of the final product; the weather, the soil, the altitude, even the amount of sunshine and rainfall will play a role in the quality and flavor of the coffee. In the commercial coffee industry, there are two main important species- Arabica (70% of the world production) and Robusta (mainly used in blends and instant coffees).

EPN Fashion Week – 2019

EPN Fashion Week… Season 9

Maggie Delaney, the creator of EPN (Entrepreneurs Networking) fashion week, orchestrated a sold-out show at the Watson Hotel with a very impressive crowd of fashion elites.

The atmosphere was chic. The room was decorated with beautiful Artwork by artist Oksana Tanasiv featuring paintings of Michael Jackson, Freddie Mercury and Audrey Hepburn.

The show started with one of my favorite designers, Elizabeth Delgado whose Mexican inspired creations wowed the crowd. The elegant and sophisticated collection featured an array of black and white prints, white silks and the new exquisite red collection.

Following Elizabeth Delgado’s collection was great presentations from designers Martha Jackson and Daniel Chimowitz. Martha showcased her coats made from different fabrics and Daniel presented his painted/embroidered men’s and women’s jackets.

Opera Singer Erica Page gave the crowd a treat with two performances. In the first performance, Swedish designer Danielle Alexander designed a dress right on stage while Ms. Page sang; truly incredible.

The second half of the show featured designers Denise Hajjar’s Ready to Wear & Evening Wear collection and designers Mussa & Danielle Alexander, all of which were uniquely and gracefully presented. Truly an honor to be invited to such a special event. Many thanks to Maggie Delaney.

Proceeds from the show went to needy students who will receive free backpacks and school supplies.
