May 2018 – 10th Year Anniversary Issue

Happy Birthday to i-Fashion Magazine. 10 Years. Wow!!! Time flies when you are having fun and fun is exactly what we had on May 12th. The celebration was phenomenal and the theme for the night was “Love”.

All the models, MUA, hair teams, caterers and even the rental space owner, worked together and helped make the event a night to remember. I’m proud of my team because it was our first show and it was just spectacular….So imagine what the future brings?

This celebration brought nothing but good news for our future plans. The L’Antonio line was launched and we are taking it further than the New York runway. I mean much further. First, after the show, we took orders and sold several pieces. Even better, we are planning various “Invite Only” trunk shows so additional garments that weren’t on the runway can be purchased. Then it’s time to hit the road again. The L’Antonio line will have a Pop Up shop in Martha’s Vineyard, June 23rd with an additional show in July. We’re also going international to Grenada, where the L’Antonio line will be shot for an editorial for the tourism board in one of their most exclusive resorts. From Alabama to Canada, plans are being solidified and waiting to be executed. Yesssss, we have a pretty busy summer ahead of us and even started planning for 2019.

Keep a lookout for our new site with all the information at www.lantonioresort.com

I dedicated a good part of this issue to the coverage of the event. Designers Karamjit Bhinder, David and Nabu Marsailles and Laverne Braithwaite turned that runway out. For those who couldn’t make it, you can re-live the event through these i-Fashion pages.

Getting back to regular business, we have some fantastic images from the shoot-athon that Mr. Don conducted. Our creative and talented photographer Karl Lee outdid himself with this set of images. We have a good read article about a plus sized model and her experience in the industry bought to you by Mandira Bahl. This is part of a series which will bring different stories about women and empowerment.

A big thank you to all the models and photographers who submitted their wonderful work for this issue. We wouldn’t be here without you.

Thank you all for your continued support.
